Backend PHP Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a PHP Developer with strong backend development skills to join our fast-paced, collaborative tech team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable web applications that support our business operations and customer-facing platforms.

This role involves developing robust PHP-based systems, integrating APIs, and ensuring optimal performance and security. You will work closely with the team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Back-End Development: Build and maintain the e-commerce platform using PHP, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • API Integration: Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping, and CRM systems.
  • Database Management: Design and optimize MySQL databases for product listings, customer accounts, and order histories.
  • E-Commerce Features: Implement shopping carts, checkout systems, and customer features like reviews and personalized recommendations.
  • Security & Optimization: Ensure platform security, fix vulnerabilities, and optimize website speed and performance.
  • Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure platform stability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and design teams to ensure the platform meets business goals.

Requirements

  • Development based on PHP 8+
  • Experience with modern PHP frameworks, such as Symfony or Laravel
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Creation of database models and SQL commands
  • Experience with version control (Git)
  • Solution-oriented thinking and an independent, methodical way of working
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and data protection
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English

Job Conditions

  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Office-based
