PSP-Health is a rapidly growing eCommerce company with a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Our team consists of professionals in IT, marketing, eCommerce and finance. We are now seeking a highly organized and experienced Interim Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team in Malta.

The Interim Bookkeeper / Accountant will be responsible for setting up the bookkeeping at our entity in Malta from our entity in the Netherlands. Knowledge of Dutch and Maltese accounting regulation is a must. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional financial skills with a strong focus on bookkeeping and accountancy. In addition, they will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be a key financial professional at SPSP-Health.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up the bookkeeping for the entity in Malta from the entity in the Netherlands.
  • Ensuring compliance with Dutch and Maltese accounting regulations.
  • Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions and documentation.
  • Preparing and submitting financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Communicating financial information to stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and external auditors.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and accountancy from Malta and the Netherlands.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of accountancy software used in Malta and the Netherlands.
  • Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player that can work independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
